She was so good at getting to know my style and generally narrowing down to only 3-4 choices to show me for different design needs and only occasionally did I need her to search for more options. Katie was a calming influence during what was for me a stressful undertaking. She was also extremely good at managing to an end timeline for such a large scope project, knowing what elements have longer delivery lead times than others. And advising on where to start first (eg area rugs) to optimize selections that would work well together. I also loved that she encouraged me to think outside the box and I became more confident in making decisions. And I am so happy that she opened my eyes on some things that I would not have thought were worth spending more to select “statement pieces” (like lighting and side tables ). And since it was such a big project, there were a few pieces that we had quality issues on (e.g. wrinkles in area rugs or cabinetry with drawer that ‘stuck’). She has always followed up in a timely manner with the showroom to get things remedied."
